🔥 What happened Researchers built AgentForge-Bench to test how reliably an off-the-shelf coding agent with seven open-weight models forges real filed financial PDFs. Across 1,750 cells, agents altered amounts, dates, or addresses – 81.1% passed the verifier, and 46.2% survived strict filters like typeface matching and full removal of the original value. 💡 Why it matters A plain script solved only 98 of 125 documents; the agents solved 124 – and none that the script solved alone.
